Account Manager for

Digital Communications

The Account Manager for Digital Communications is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with brands’ current and future customers. That passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of creating brand loyalty among the online audience. Community leadership and participation (both online and offline) are integral to an Account Manager’’s success. An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected consumers.

Offering new and forward-thinking ideas, strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential for this position. The Account Manager for Digital Communications is also expected to be able to take the lead for accounts/projects assigned to him/her, providing strategy and successful output for the client with or without an assigned an Account Executive/Account Manager in the team. His/Her tasks also include providing feedback and project reviews.

​BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

​

  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.

  • Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content 

  • Create a regular publishing schedule

  • Leverage the right tools to manage your content

  • Promote content through social advertising

  • Develop, execute and manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:

    • Business correspondences in relation to account being serviced 

    • Ensuring smooth flow and completion of projects 

    • Daily monitoring of various publications and online sites

    • Media relations during events 

    • Administrative tasks and development of reports

  • Strategize for brands/ accounts growth and maximum publicity 

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the business and profitability of the account/project being handled 

  • Idea Generation and Concept Development

  • Development of Plans and Presentations

SKILLS NEEDED​

​

  • Excellent writing and communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent presentation and interviewing skills 

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

​EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Graduate of Communications, PR, or any related course

  • Preferably with 1-2 years of related work/industry experience

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
